COORDINATIONA.
CoordinationwithBase Building and otherBuilding Tenants:

Exercise extreme care and precaution during construction of the Work. Schedule Work to minimize disturbances toadjacent spaces and/or structures and their occupants, property, public thoroughfares, etc.
The Contractorshalltake precautionsand be responsible forthe safetyofbuilding occupantsfromconstructionprocedures.TheContractorshallbe responsible foranyovertime costsincurred thereby.2.
The Contractorshallbe required to meet allLandlord requirementsforconstruction.3.
The Contractorshallcoordinate withLandlord allWork required bythe Tenant that occursoutside the Tenant space and isonorwithinthe base building.The contractorisresponsible forthe installationand integrityofallpenetrationsrequired to the existingroofand formeeting allLandlord requirements.4.
The Contractorshallreviewthe base building Contract Documentsand shallcomplywithbase building requirementsand designcriteria.5.

Contractorshallallowfive (10)working daysforthe Architect and Consultantsto the Architect to reviewsubmittals.Allsubmittalsnotreviewed directlybythe Architect,but ratherConsultantsto the Architect,shallbe submitted simultaneouslyto boththe Architect andthe Consultant and shallbe noted assuch.The Contractorshallnot proceed withwork untilbothArchitect and Consultant haveapproved the submittal.No extensionofthe contract time willbe granted because offailure to provide submittalsforthe Architect'srevieworcoordinationinatimelyfashion.E.

Horizontaldimensionsindicated are to/fromfinished face ofconstruction,except asnoted.3.
Verticaldimensionsare fromtopoffloorslab,except where noted to be fromabove finished floor(AFF),asmeasured fromthehighpoint ofthe slab.Contractorto notifythe Architect whendeviationisgreaterthanallowed innote 4 below.4.
FloorTolerance:The Contractoristo immediatelyverifyslope and report anydeviationovera1/4 inchslope in10 feet to theArchitect priorto commencing Work.The Contractorshallbe responsible forleveling allareasto achieve aslope deviationoflessthan1/4 inchslope in10 feet.The Contractorshallensure anabsolute levelfloorunderallswinging and sliding doors.5.
Dimensionsare not adjustable without approvalofthe Architect unlessnoted (±).6.
Dimensionsindicated to be "clear' or"clr" shallbe maintained.Anydiscrepanciesorvariationsinthese dimensionsshallbereviewed withthe Architect before beginning construction.7.
Anydimensionnoted "Verify" or"VIF" must be reviewed withthe Architect before beginning construction.8.
The Contractorshallcontinuouslycheck Architecturaland structuralclearancesforaccessibilityofequipment and mechanicaland electricalsystems.No allowance ofanykind willbe made forthe Contractor'sfailure to foresee meansofinstallingequipment into positioninside structures.B.
ObservationofWork:1.
The Architect,acting asthe Owner'sdesignated agent fordesignofthisproject,willexercise sole authorityfordeterminingconformance ofmaterials,equipment and systemswiththe intent ofthe design.Reviewand acceptance ofitemsproposed byContractorforincorporationinto the Work willbe bythe Architect.Thisfunctionofthe Architect willapplybothto Contract asinitiallysigned,and to the changesto Contract bymodificationduring progressofWork.2.
Ifat anytime before commencement ofWork,orduring progressthereof,the Contractor'smethods,equipment orappliancesareinefficient orinappropriate forsecuring qualityofWork,orrate ofprogressintended byContract Documents,the Ownermayorderthe Contractorto improve theirqualityorincrease theirefficiency.Thiswillnot relieve the Contractorofhissuretiesfromtheirobligationsto secure qualityofWork and rate ofprogressspecified incontract.C.

Existing Conditions:1.
The Contractorshallbe responsible forchecking Contract Documents,field conditions,and dimensionsforaccuracyandconfirming that Work isbuildable asshownbefore proceeding withconstruction.Clarificationregarding anyconflictsshallbereceived priorto related Work being started.Acomplete site surveyisrequired byG.C.locationallexisting utilitiesand servicesaswellastopographicinformatiionpriorto starting work.2.
The Contractorshallnotifythe Ownerinwriting ofanydeficienciesinbase building constructionpriorto the commencement ofthisWork.Anyunreported deficiencieswillbecome the responsibilityofthe Contractorto correct.E.
Inthe event ofconflict betweenthe Drawingsand the Specifications,the Specificationsshallgovern.Detaildrawingstakeprecedence overdrawingsoflargerscope.Should the Contractorat anytime discoveranerrorinadrawing orspecification,oradiscrepancyorvariationbetweendrawings,oradiscrepancyorvariationbetweendimensionsand measurementsat site,orlackofdimensionsorotherinformation,the Contractorshallnot proceed withthe Work affected untilclarificationhasbeenmade.F.
The Contractorshallcoordinate and reviewthe layout and exact locationofthe itemslisted belowinthe field priorto construction.Anyconflictsthat arise shallbe brought to the Architectsattentioninwriting forresolutionpriorto proceeding withconstruction:1.

The Contractorshallfollowmanufacturer'srecommended specification& installationprocedures.Ifthese are contraryto theContract Documents,the Contractorshallnotifythe Architect,inwriting,immediately,to resolve discrepanciespriorto proceeding.H.
Onlynewitemsofrecent manufacture,ofthe highest quality,free fromdefects,willbe permitted onthe Work.Rejected itemsshallbe removed immediatelyfromthe Work and replaced withitemsofthe qualityspecified.Failure to remove rejected materialsandequipment shallnot relieve the Contractorfromthe responsibilityforqualityand characterofitemsused norfromanyotherobligationimposed bythe Contract.I.
The finished Work shallbe firm,wellanchored,intrue alignment,plumb,level,withsmooth,clean,uniformappearance withoutwaves,distortions,holes,marks,cracks,stains,ordiscoloration.Jointingsshallbe close fitting,neat and wellscribed.The finishwork shallhave no exposed unsightlyanchorsorfastenersand shallnot present hazardous,unsafe corners.Work shallhave theprovisionforexpansion,contraction,and shrinkage asnecessaryto prevent cracks,buckling and warping due to temperature andhumidityconditions.J.
Attachments,connections,orfasteningsofanynature are to be properlyand permanentlysecured inconformance withbest practiceand the Contractorisresponsible forimproving themaccordingly.The drawingsshowonlyspecialconditionsto assist theContractor.Theydo not illustrate everysuchdetail.

No Work defective inconstructionorqualityordeficient inanyrequirementsofdrawingsand specificationswillbe acceptable inconsequence ofthe Owner'sorArchitect'sfailure to discoverorto point out defectsordeficienciesduring construction;norwillpresenceofinspectorsonWork relieve the Contractorfromresponsibilityforsecuring qualityand progressofWork asrequired bythe Contract.Defective Work revealed withinrequired time guarantees,asspecified inthe Contract,shallbe replaced byWorkconforming withtheintent ofthe Contract.No payment whetherpartialorfinal,shallbe construed asanacceptance ofdefective Work orimpropermaterials01500
