Iowa is 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Big Ten. TheHawkeyes are ranked eighth by the Associated Press and sixth inthe USAToday/Coaches poll. The Hawkeyes are ranked fourth inthe BCS poll. Northwestern is 5-4 in all games and 2-3 in leagueplay. The Hawkeyes beat Northern Iowa (17-16), Arizona (27-17),Arkansas State (24-21), Michigan (30-28) and Indiana (42-24)in Kinnick Stadium and have road wins over Iowa State (35-3),fourth-ranked Penn State (21-10), Wisconsin (20-10) and MichiganState (15-13).
