Analysis of Gaps in the Protection of Rohingya Refugees

This report examines the situation of camp based Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Itis based on statistical and sectoral reports by UNHCR and partner agencies as well ason participatory assessments with refugees. The analysis provides a comprehensive view of the main risks and problems faced byrefugees including obstacles in the way of more durable solutions. It further highlightsthose areas where protection risks are experienced by refugees and local residentsalike. Moreover, the analysis attempts to capture the capacity of the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) as well as that of the refugee and local communities to address suchrisks, improve the lives of refugees and expand opportunities for durable solutions.
