The 3 Phases Of Army BasicTraining
Army Basic Training isdesigned to give eachcandidate all of the initialskills they will need to be aneffective warrior in today'sfight against terrorism,natural disasters and allforms of piracy.
Soldiers in today's Armyface technologies andcircumstances unheard of lessthan 20 years ago. ArmyBasic Training is the first stepto learning how to effectivelyandsafely combat the evilsand dangers of life today. It isboth physically andmentallychallenging. Army basicTraining candidates pushthemselves to gain greater levels of strength, stamina andknowledge under the harshand demanding tutelage of professional Drill Instructors.Army Basic Training isanything but easy. Candidatesare challenged physically andmentally to do their very best for nine solid weeks.Candidates wake up everyday at 5:00 a.m. and beexercising by 5:30, breakfastat 6:30 and more training at8:30. Lunch is at noon andmore training at 1:00 p.m. At5:00 p.m. candidates eatdinner and 6:00 p.m. meanstime with the Drill Sergeant.From 8:30 to 9:30, candidatesget some personal time.
