BAT40

40-KW-BATTERY CHARGER/SUPPLY INVERTER

The ba ery inverter BAT40 is a special development for charging and discharging lead-acid ba eries. It works on low voltage level and contains an isola ng transformer. The BAT40 can feed the energy, stored in the ba ery, power controlled into the grid. It converts the DC voltage of the ba ery into grid-compliant AC power. With help of the transformer, the ba ery is operated poten al-free. When required, reac ve power can be provided. To charge the ba ery from the grid, the inverter operates as controlled rec er. Several congurable load curves, that meet the requirements of lead-acid ba eries, are available, but the use of other ba ery types are possible. The congura on and control of the BAT40 is done via MODBUS TCP (Ethernet). The necessary higher-level control system of the components are not part of the delivery and must be provided by the customer himself. The interface descrip on of the BAT40 is available.

The system is designed for low maintenance and long life me. The BAT40 can be completely controlled via Ethernet (MODBUS TCP). Addi onally a graphic user interface (Touchscreen) enables opera on of the basic func ons. The inverter stores all relevant measured values over a period of up to one year. These values as well as current opera ng data can be retrieved via the Ethernet interface at any me.
