This Jyotirling is originally situated on the Arabian seashore in the holy town of Prabhash Patan (Near Veraval) inthe Saurashtra region of the state of Gujarat. It is mentionedin the holy Skandpuran that God Moon himself constructedit in order to worship Lord Shiva so as to be free from thecurse.

This Jyotirling is originally situated on the banks of river Krishna atop Konch hills in the shree Shailam area of Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This regionabounds in flower named mallika and arjun hence the name.

 This Jyotiling is originally situated on the bank of river Shipra in Ujjain the cultural capital of the state of MadhyaPradesh.

The location of this Jyotirling has two opinions Oneopinion is that it is situated in a place called Parli atDevdhar in the region called Sathanmandal in the state of Bihar. The other opinion says that it is situated at a towncalled Parli near Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra.

This Jyotirling is originally situated on the banks of theriver Bhima in the dakini region which is toward the east of the city of Pune in the state of Maharashtra.

This Jyotirling is originally situated on island in a hugetemple on the sea-shore in the Dhanushyakoti region theRamnathpuram district in the state of Tamilnadu.

The original location of this Jyotirling also has two opinion.As per one opinion it is situated in the Nagnath Aundaregion of district Parbhani in the state of Maharashtra. Theother opinion state that it is located in the Darukavan regionnear the holy town of Dwarka in the state of Gujarat.

This Jyotirling is situated in one of the most pious & holycity of Banaras also known as Varanasi or Kashi region inthe state of Uttar Pradesh.
