1) A Berlin climate activist groupwww.bit.ly/fb_climate(Facebook) /@fossiloftheday (Twitter) yesterday wrote a letter to Canadian embassy to get anappointment:
Dear Mr. Klassen,we were just given your mail adress from the counter of the Canadian embassy. We will visit the Canadian embassy tomorrow 9am and would be glad if you could find the time for a very short talk. Why? We're a group of climate activists following the current UN negotiationsin Barcelona. And just today, Canada has been awarded with the "Fossil of the Day" - a prize for states blocking the current talks and sincere steps to aclimate safe future. Thus, this is on very short notice, but we still hope you will be around tomorrow and ready for a quick chat and the handing over of the "Fossil". More info:http://www.climatenetwork.org/fossil Best, Daniel Kruse
2) Mr. Klassen from Canadian embassy replies:
Dear Mr. Krause,Thank you for your email but I regret to advise that we are not able to arrangea meeting on such short notice.Groups wishing to deliver a protest normally advise the police authorities whoadminister rules / permits for protests and in turn will contact the Embassydirectly, at least 24 hours in advance. This approach ensures the necessaryarrangements can be made and such messages can be delivered without incident. You can be assured that I have read with interest the communique in the web-link in your e-mail and taken note of the content.Regards,Vincent KlassenConseiller économique | Economic Counsellor Ambassade du Canada | Canadian EmbassyLeipziger Platz 17 | 10117 Berlin
3) Another try from the activists:

TheCopenhagen Summit, which many environmentalist groups consider "the mostimportant conference on the planet", is also right before our eyes and we would love to have our say as concerned citizens and your kind welcoming as a
