WAKE UP AFRICA:Do you mean to argue that it is not the Godwho created the Russians, the Americans, the Britonsthe Israelites, the Arabs, who created you in Africa?Do you have another God? Have you sworn not to beindependent? Do you not want to find your feet on theground? It is incumbent upon you to worship God inspirit and in truth. Is there no person in Africa who hasfound favor with God? I want you Africans to questionyourselves on this issue.LIBERTY IS FOUND IN THE LORD:If you recall the experience of many black people during the colonial period you will now realizethe difference between being liberated and beingbound. The Africans were subdued and exploited to thefullest. Both human and material resources of mostparts of Africa were exploited for the development of Europe. But after many decades of colonialism, theAfrican got up and started the struggle forindependence, and finally got independence.Nevertheless, with independence followedrepublicanism, things became worse than ever beforeamong the Africans. The much cherished freedom wasa mirage rather than a reality, and many Africans livedin abject poverty, fear of oppression and victimizationby their fellow Africans.After this period came the era of military rulein many African states, and the problem of a new leaseon life for the people. Here in Nigeria, the country wasbroken into twelve states along tribal lines and further

broken into many parts, all in the hope of giving thepeople a greater sense of freedom.However, that did not solve the problem; formore and more communities group themselvestogether to clamor for states and local governmentauthorities. Now the problem continues.The solution to the problems of life does notdepend on the type of government in power or on anyparticular group of people or community, but on theacceptance of the Holy Spirit as the Only Leader andGuide in the world. You may decide to exclude yourself from the rest of society and live in a very isolated place,yet, problems will be found there as soon as you settledown. Whether you live alone, or in a larger society,the problems of lack of freedom still exist wherever youare.
The only solution to human suffering is to walk according to the directives of the Holy Spirit. Unless we are led by the Spirit,the situation in the world will never improve.
 That is why I am pleading with you tosurrender yourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit. TheHoly Spirit is life, good health, wealth, the kingdom of God and everything good.
