Resumen

Mediante el análisis de los escritos de Vygotski, en este artículo se resalta la existencia de una relación fuer- te, profunda y dialéctica entre su vida y su obra que conecta su visión de la organización dramática de la psique con su interpretación de su propia vida como misión en la entonces emergente ciencia psicológica. A partir de este análisis sobre la mente dramática en la perspectiva vygotskiana, los autores reclaman un mayor acercamiento de la psicología científica a las funciones y procesos psíquicos directivos y de sentido, a menudo preteridos en la agenda de investigación.



From the psychology of drama to the drama of psychology: The relationship between the life and work of Lev S. Vygotsky

Abstract

Analyzing the writings of Vygotsky, this paper suggests the existence of a strong, deep, and dialectical link between his life and his work that connects his insight of the dramatic organization of mind with his interpre- tation of his own life trajectory as a mission in the emergent psychological science. On the base of the dramatic organization of mind advanced by Vygotski, the authors ask for a greater involvement of psychology research in the study of psychological directive functions and processes involved in the attribution of sense to personal and social activity and life projects, too often deferred in the psychological research agenda.
