1 John sin is a violation of Torah.It's not often that I am at a loss for something to teach. And after Pastor Georgestarted on the Grafted In teaching I thought, “wow right up my alley” I already had anextensive teaching on that. But alas 'G-d' had another idea. As I was praying on it, asusual when I surrender to His leading the teaching is there, and tonight was noexception.I would like everyone to open their Bibles to First John. 1 John 3:4Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that iswhat] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God's law by transgression orneglect--being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will).

1 John 3:4
Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah - indeed, sin is violation ofTorah.

According to this scripture, sin is defined as the violation of God’s Law.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are covered under GRACE, GRACE, GRACE, GRACE, GRACE. The laws were nailedto the cross so how can we sin? My pastor says the laws were abolished, they werenailed to the cross.
Colossians 2:14
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us,which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

to be reading from the CJB, but please follow along in your favorite version.(Read) 1 John 1:1-4 - -We saw the Word which in fact existed from the very beginning. We have heard HIM,we testify to His existence with our own testimonies and walk.Yeshua was and is with the Father, and with US. We each have seen, heard, and felt Hispresence. And we testify this to all we meet. (Or should).We do this so that everyone may have the blessings and fellowship with us, with YeshuaHaMashiach, the Son, the Heir Apparent, G-d manifest in man.(Read) 1 John 1:5 - -It is amazing the message we hear in the Gospels and in the Apostolic writings is that G-d is Light. And that there is absolutely NO darkness in him NONE!(Read) 1 John 1:6-10 - -Many claim to be saved, to have a relationship with the Messiah but they are lying tothemselves and to others, and worse yet lying to G-d. And by doing so they do not liveout the truth. Truth is a life style, not a religion or denomination, but a way of life.If you were to stand in a room with no visible light the only thing you know is that it isdark.But when you turn on a light you then know there is more than just your physicalpresence. You can see and identify your surroundings. You can move and walk andfunction in the light, while in darkness you stumble and fall and are continually at odds.In light there is fellowship with others, as we can see and communicate and are blessedby the same light.We are able to see and fellowship, because we were washed clean of the darkness andfilth that covered us and our eyes, by the Blood of Jesus/Yeshua. He purified us fromall wrong doing.But to say we had not or do not sin, makes Him out to be a liar. And His WORD is notthere, it's not part of our life and our being.We see this here;(Read) 1 John 2:1-11

Many claim to know Him, Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah. They claim to be followers,believers, yet they stand on the premise that grace give's them the free reign to do asthey please. So they pick and choose which commandments of G-d they will follow.But as Yochanan tells us here that those who do these things are liars and do not havethe light in them. If they still harbour hate against their brother [fellowman] they donot have the light in them.He was reminding us that he was not writing a new law. But confirming the old. Theoriginal(Read) 1 John 2:12-14(Read) 1 John 2:15-28He reminds us not to love the things of the world. Because to do so meant that we didnot have the love of the father in us.So aptly put here; “all the things of the world---the desires of the old nature, thedesires of the eyes, and the pretensions of life---- are not from the Father but fromthe world.”Yochanan tells us that those who do G-d's will, remains for ever.There are false teachers, false messiahs, those who pretend to do the will of G-d butonly for personal gain or profit. The build up for themselves legions of followers to“justify” their sin of greed and deception. Thinking that these great numbers are proofof G-d's hand, yet hasatan too knows how to provide, with trickery and deception.These do NOT have the Father in them.If you have received the Messiah you also have the HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit, andthrough that you know that Yochanan wrote the truth, or you would not see it.If you deny Jesus/Yeshua you also deny the Father and Vice versa. You can not haveone with out the other. When you have the Father and the Son, you have the desire toremain in Him and close to Him and learn from Him. His WORD becomes as sweet foodon your heart and mind.(Read) 1 John 3
