When Scotland gains Independence – It’s Goodbye UK – a guide for the English.On 1 May 1707, the Kingdom of Great Britain was created by the politicalunion of the Kingdom of England (which included Wales) and the Kingdom of Scotland. As for keeping Britain as a name,perhaps so, but Great Britain might need to be renamed to LB, Lesser Britain.4/. Tunes like Rule Britannia might get left off the play list during Last Night of the Proms.5/. No more Union Flag, to show patriotism, the English will need to display theflag of St George, at risk of lowering the tone of the neighbourhood, throughunfortunate associations with the National Front. The coat of arms will need tobe redesigned. Excellent business for flag makers and printers.6/. Will domain names like .co.uk cease to exist? Perhaps companieswill wish to re-brand their brochures with .co.eg website addresses. Ofcoursenew domain names will not be found on the Google search engine for sometime,so English businesses may loose business as a result.7/. No more U Kip party, perhaps E kip instead?
