8.Goods vehicle Levy (Exemption) Order 1983.E.g: All goods vehicles are Subjected to a levy of RM 200.00 pervehicle except those vehicles carrying goods as spelt out inSchedule II & IV of the order.-Currectly there are 27 items which are subjected to onlyRM 100.00 levy Per Vehicle.E.g: Granite, hollow bricks, cement & Prefabricated concretecement products (segments/channels)-Similarly, there are 28 item which are subjected to NIL
 
levyPer Vehicle as provided under Schedule II of the Order.E.g: Live animals, fish and vegetables.-It is also to be noted that there are vehicles which arecompletely exempted from payment of Levy. Examples of such vehicles are government department (Federal & States)vehicles and vehicles which are used to transport goods from Thailand to Singapore in transit through Malaysia under theMemorandum of understanding (M.O.U.) between the MalaysianGovernment and Thailand.
