Subject: Receive and File Quarterly Performance Report-Third Quarter Summary
Recommendation(s): Receive and File the Third Quarter Performance Report Summary
Executive Summary: This report provides a quarterly update of the City's Key Initiatives as well
as a current look at the City's fiscal, operational and capital projects
based on the adopted Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-2014 operating plan and
budget. The third quarter ended March 31, 2014
Analysis/Discussion: Key Initiatives: The City Council adopted the 2014 Key Init iatives at the
start of the fiscal third quarter for calendar year 2014. The City is
progressing on each of the 2014 Key Initiat ives that the City Council
adopted in January with many identified to be funded and undertaken as
part of the fiscal year 2014-2015 operating budget.
Fiscal Impact:
Budgeted (yes/no)
Financial summary: General Fund revenue received is a 75.87 percent at
the three-quarter point of the fiscal year, which is on track with city
revenue and expenditures.
Department summary: In each of these summaries there are notable
budget variances, performance data, activity, and key trends. Reported
performance measures reflect those that were included in the operating
plan and budget for the FY 2013-2014.
Capital projects: Included in the report is a summary of the funded fiscal
year 2013-2014 projects. Work has progressed on most projects. Nine
projects have been completed.
