Is this true?A: The plan as of right now is thatstudents will have access to thecurrent study area on the first floor.Within that study area, there willalso be several study rooms, a num- ber of tables of different sizes, a fewcomfortable couch type seats, asmall café area with vending ma-chines that have sandwiches, andthe usual snacks. There are alsoplans to renovate Kersey library tomake it conducive of a better studyenvironment.Q: Can you please explain theTablet PC requirements that are ineffect for freshman entering SpeedSchool for the upcoming fall se-mester?A: Starting next fall, all freshmanwill be required to own a Tablet PCand will be expected to use one inclass. Students are expected to beresponsible for their PCs and usethem to supplement teacher instruc-tion. The administration or morespecifically, the academic technol-ogy committee currently plans forrevamping the power structures inKersey library and in the J.B Speed building so that students can plug inlaptops and use them. Administra-tion is looking at several differentvendors for Tablet PCs and also look-ing at offering software packages atdiscounted prices for students. Ad-ministration is also supposed to haveTablet PCs that students can take outon temporary loan if the student’s PCis out of function.Q: When is your birthday?
