What is so bad with the Jewish Roots of the Gospel?
I heard this question posed to day to several ministers. And oddlyenough only 2 could or would answer.Well this question is a truly deep and controversial one. Why is theresuch resistance?Well let us look at some of the con’s to the Jewishness of the Gospel
1)
The New Testament replaced the Old Testament! The Biblesays so!
Hebrews 8:13 NASBWhen He said, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

Hebrews 8:13 Darby In that he says New, he has made the first old; but that which grows old and aged isnear disappearing.
Now I have heard people miss quote this verse for years. It DOESNOT say that the New replaced the old. No translation says that. OkWhen in fact in relation to Jeremiah 31 it shows that the Messiah madethe Law’s of atonement obsolete and replaced them. In other wordsNO MORE SACRIFICES. Y’shua HaMoshiach became our sacrifice.
Hebrews 8:13OJBWhen Hashem uses the word "CHADASHA" he hasthereby made the Brit (Covenant) HaRishonah (the first) yeshanahand a Brit (Covenant) thus made aging, is near to being yakhlo(vanished).
Now am I going to rebut their comment?? No why should I. But I willsuggest we move to Hebrews Chapter 9; {As any good scripturestudent would do.}
Hebrews 9:18-28 MRC Therefore even the first covenant was not  inaugurated without blood.(19)For when every commandment had been spoken by Moshe to all the people, according to the Torah, hetook the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the scroll itself and all the people,(20)And both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry, inlike manner, he sprinkled with blood.(21)saying, "THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT WHICH GOD COMMANDED YOU." (22) And with blood almost all things are purified, according to the Torah,

and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.(23)Thusit was necessary for the copies of the things in the Heavens to be purified with these, but the Heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.(24)For the Messiah did not enter a sanctuary   made with human hands, a copy of the true one, but into Heavenitself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;(25)nor was it that He should offer Himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters thesanctuary yearly with blood not his own.(26)Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world;but now once at the consummation of the ages He has beenmanifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.(27)And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,(28)so the Messiah also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference tosin,  to those who eagerly await Him.
As we can see that Y’shua only replaced the “sacrificial” laws of Moshe. But the churches today (since the first or second century) hasonly felt it necessary to quote Heb 8:13. As with any false teachingthey only use singular verses, because if they taught the entirescripture they would learn something and realize that they wereflawed.
2)
The Church Replaces Israel. We replace the Jews cause thehate Jesus. The Jews turned their backs on G-d.Replacement Theology became the position of the Church during thetime of Augustine (A.D. 354-430), who popularized it in his book
TheCity of God
. Initially Augustine claimed that he was a Chiliast, thebelief in the literal thousand year reign of Christ on the earth, the basicview of Pre-millennialism today. Having come to the conclusion thatthis view was "inferior" and "carnal," he adopted the position that thereign of Christ should be much more "spiritual" and it would occurduring this present Church Age. His spiritualizing method, of course,eliminated true Israel and the losing of all the promises God made tothe Jewish nation, which he viewed as now being fulfilled within theChurch.And one of the primary scriptures that is used to “provethereplacement theory is that of Jeremiah 31:31-34, but it is the sameverse that that they reference with Hebrews 8:13 to prove that theNew covenant replaced the Old. How silly is this?

(Jeremiah 31:31 Darby)Behold, days come, saith Jehovah, that I willmake a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:(Jeremiah 31:32 Darby)not according to the covenant that I madewith their fathers, in the day of my taking them by the hand, to leadthem out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke,although I was a husband unto them, saith Jehovah.(Jeremiah 31:33 Darby)For this is the covenant that I will make withthe house of Israel, after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my lawin their inward parts, and will write it in their heart; and I will be theirGod, and they shall be my people.(Jeremiah 31:34 Darby)And they shall teach no more every man hisneighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for theyshall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them,saith Jehovah: for I will pardon their iniquity, and their sin will Iremember no more.It’s not even worth arguing about. Any one with half a mind andreasonable intelligence can read the WORD of G-d and know that theentire WORD. Now the entire Torah IS fulfilled in a Word Y’shua. Hecommands us to love one another and also that we would love Him.Galatians 5:14-26 MRCFor the entire Torah is fulfilled in one word,"YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."(15)But if youbite and eat up one another, watch, that you not be consumed by oneanother.(16)But I say, walk in the Spirit, and you will not carry outthe lust of the flesh.(17)For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, andthe Spirit against the flesh. For these are opposed to one another, toprevent you from doing what you want.(18)But if you are led by theSpirit, you are not under Torah.(19)Now the works of the flesh areclearly revealed, which are: immorality, uncleanness, licentiousness,(20)idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,(21)envying, drunkenness, wildparties, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I haveforewarned you that those who commit such things will not inherit theKingdom of God.(22)But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace,patient long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,(23)gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.(24)Now those who belong to Messiah Yeshua have crucified the flesh withits passions and lusts.(25)If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in
