PMR EUDR Plans KEOs Electrical Services Comments
1. Outlet mounting height above benches should be identified on the drawings
2. Many existing outlets are identified as being deleted on the EUDR plans and the outlet
relocated to an alternative location. We assume deleted in this case means removed and
wiring also removed and relocated. To minimise disruption and cost, the preference is that
existing power and data outlets should remain and the relocated power outlets added to the
existing circuit. In the case of data or TV outlets, additional data outlets should be added:
Outlets and data outlets and associated wiring should only be removed due to any of the
following:
If the location of the outlet is behind permanently fixed furniture
If the outlet is located behind loose furniture and the outlet is preventing the furniture
being placed in its desired location
If the addition of the relocated socket exceeds the maximum number of sockets on the
particular circuit
Data outlets should only be removed where capacity does not exist for terminating the
existing and relocated data outlets onto patch panels. Evidence must be provided of any
particular instances where this may occur
3. Outlets for refrigerators are identified behind the refrigerator. Consideration should be
given to provision of wall mounted fused connection units to the left or right hand side of
the refrigerator for local isolation or disconnection without having to pull the fridge unit to
access the outlet
4. Generally, data outlets do not appear to have been provided for multi-function printers.
Check if these are to be connected to the building LAN. If so, data outlets should be
provided.
5. On drawing No. 023, there is no power outlet or data outlet for the laptop computer. Is the
data connection intended to be connected through WIFI?
