What is the advantage of using Delicious or Diigo?
It bookmarks all of your favorite websites onto the Internet using tags, allowing for the ability to access your bookmarks onany computer and through meaningful filters. It creates ONE collection of your bookmarks asopposed to a different collection on every computer you use.For example, I can bookmark Nasa.gov and tag it as “science” “astronomy” “space”. If I filter my bookmarks by any of these tags, NASA will appear. I can also view all my bookmarks with a particular tag, and send my links to someone else. If I view all my science bookmarks, I can emailthem to a friend, so he can view all of my tags. As I add more bookmarks, the list will update for my friend.
The Toolbar
The toolbar is essential for showing your bookmarks on any computer. There is a toolbar availablefor Internet Explorer and Firefox. Once you arelogged into Delicious or Diigo, you will look for the Install Toolbar button. It will add theDelicious Toolbar to the browser, and now youwill have a bookmark/tag button.

When you visit a site, you like, click Bookmark and a dialog box will appear.It will show the web address, the title, a description, tags, and additional features.
