The word good, literally, fails to delineate the true character of a person. It certainly does not tell us if such a person, who owned a firearm legally could be trusted not kill another person unlawfully with or without mens rea. Truth is, only a Clairvoyant could say for sure. But we all know they do not exist. The Second Amendment holds that every man has the natural right to possess a firearm. The state, grounded in the Tenth Amendment, posits, it is their statutory interests that determines such rights. Who is right, and who is wrong?
