Thank you all very much, and Sarita I would love to take you up on that offer. To be honest, when I saw you lived in Peru, I immediately wanted to see if you'd be down for a visitor! I've had this driving urge to head to S. America for a while...we may have to talk more about this later :)

you crafted this well. its imagery is perfect, its structure is the strong bones on which you hang your dream.. the emotions are clear and the flow from one place to the other maintains the the dreamlike imagery, but lets us wander around in it.. Its a great, classic poem, oberman. very well done.
