Thesephotographs were taken inside juvenile detention acilities, but the children depicted here are not serving lie without parole sentences in Illinois.This book also includes photographs o several individuals now serving sentences in Illinois o lie without parole or crimes committed whenthey were juveniles. Each o these images is used with the permission o the individual’s amily.
