THE OMNIPRESENCE OF THE FATHER AND OF HIS SON.
THE SDA TRINITY DOGMA.

The ‘trinity dogma” was deceptively voted intothe SDA Church at the 1980 Dallas, Texas,General Conference Session. The Trinity dogmateaches the operational union of three Beings:God the Father, God the Son and God the HolySpirit; who are co-eternal, co-equal, and co-substantial. The spirit of the antichrist denies theFather and the Son relationship.Let us look at a few of the implications of thisunscriptural dogma:
1. The Trinity dogma teaches that God theSon became the Son only at His incarnation, and that God the Son was NEVER the Son inheaven, where He was God.
2. They unwittingly reject and deny the many

Scriptures that reveal that the Son was begotten inheaven. They assert that the God the Son becamethe Son only at Bethlehem.
 3. The Trinity asserts that it was really notGod's Son who came to die for you and me,but a member of the Trinity God who playedthe role of the Son.4. The Trinity tells us that because theTrinity god is co-substantial, therefore we canpraise, worship, and pray to any of the three.5. The Trinity dogma created in 481 ADGod the Holy Spirit, a separate independentthird God, a sophisticated form of idolatry.
THOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODSBEFORE ME."This day the LORD thy God hathcommanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and dothem with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.17 Thou hast avouched the LORD this day tobe thy God, and to walk in his ways, and tokeep his statutes, and his commandments, andhis judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this dayto be his peculiar people, as he hath promisedthee, and that [thou] shouldest keep all hiscommandments;”
Deut. 26:16.
"I [am] the LORD thy God, which havebrought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have noother gods before me." Exo. 20:2.
"Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any]graven or molten image, an abomination untothe LORD, the work of the hands of thecraftsman, and putteth [it] in [a] secret [place].And all the people shall answer and say,Amen." Deut. 27:15.
IS THE TRINITY A FALSECONCEPTION OF GOD.“No outwardshrines may be visible, there may be no imagefor the eye to rest upon, yet we may bepracticing idolatry. It is as easy to make anidol of cherished ideas or objects as to fashiongods of wood or stone.Thousands have a falseconception of God and His attributes. They

are as verily serving a false god as were the

servants of Baal. Are we worshiping the trueGod as He is revealed in His word, in Christ,in nature, or are we adoring somephilosophicalidol enshrined in His place? God is a God of truth. Justice and mercy arethe attributes of His throne. He is a God of love, of pity and tender compassion. Thus Heis represented in His Son, our Saviour. He is aGod of patience and long-suffering. If such isthe being whom we adore and to whosecharacter we are seeking to assimilate, we areworshiping the true God.” {5T 173.4}A THOUGHTFUL QUESTION.Is the "Trinity dogma" idolatry by placinganother "third independent god" called theTrinity before the Most High and His Son,THE HEART OF THE MATTER.
We recognize that Jesus is the begotten Son of God, and that both have the attributes of  omnipresence through the Holy Spirit that they share. The Father is omnipresent through HisSpirit, which has a separate personality but not a separate being.

1. Is the Holy Spirit a third co-equal, co-eternal co-substantial independent GOD?2. Is the Trinity dogma Scriptural oridolatry?3. Does Sister White teach the Trinitydogma in Evangelism p. 601?THE THIRD PERSON OF THEGODHEAD. "The prince of the power of evilcan only be held in check by the power of Godin the third person of the Godhead, the Holy

Spirit."
(Evangelism, p. 617)

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS CHRIST.

"TheHoly Spirit is Christ's representative, but

divested of the personality of humanity, and

independent thereof. Cumbered with

humanity, Christ could not be in every place

personally.
Therefore it was for their interest that He

should go to the Father, and send the Spirit to be Hissuccessor on earth. …
By the Spirit the Saviourwould be accessible to all.
In this sense He wouldbe nearer to them than if He had not ascended onhigh
 ." (
EGW, Desire of Ages, p. 669. 1898 edition)
"Cumbered with humanity, Christ couldnot be in every place personally; therefore itwas altogether for their advantage that Heshould leave them, go to His father, and sendthe Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of thepersonality of humanity and independentthereof. He would represent Himself as presentin all places by His Holy Spirit, as theOmnipresent."

(EGW,

 Manuscript Release, No.1084)
"The impartation of the Spirit is theimpartation of the life of Christ."
(EGW, Desireof Ages, p. 805)
THE HOLY GHOST, CHRIST HIMSELF.
"When God's people take the position that theyare
the temple of the Holy Ghost, Christ

Himself abiding within,
they will so clearly

reveal Him in spirit, words, and actions, that therewill be an unmistakable distinction between themand Satan's followers."

(EGW, Notebook LeafletsVol. 1, p. 79)
CHRIST THE COMFORTER.
"The reasonwhy the churches are weak and sickly and readyto die, is that the enemy has brought influencesof a discouraging nature to bear upon tremblingsouls. He has sought to
shut Jesus from theirview as the Comforter,
as one who reproves, who warns, who admonishes them, saying, "Thisis the way, walk ye in it.""
(Review & Herald, August 26, 1890)
"Christ declared that after his ascension, hewould send to his church, as His crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place.ThisComforter is the Holy Spirit,--the soul of his life, the efficacy of His church, the light and life of the world.
With His Spirit Christ
sends areconciling influence and a power that takesaway sin."
(Review & Herald, May 19, 1904)
TWO INDIVIDUALS YET ONE INSPIRIT.
“From eternity there was a completeunity between the Father and the Son.
Theywere two, yet little short of being identical;two in individuality,
 yet one in spirit
, andheart, and character.”

{E. G. White, TheYouth’s Instructor, December 16, 1897 par. 5}
DO YOU BELIEVE YOUR LEADERS TO BEINFALLIBLE?
Do you believe in practice, that the"theologians" have the authority to change Scriptures, or doctrines? Is there a difference between a man madedogma and Scriptural doctrines? Is a doctrine based onScripture, the same as a dogma based on tradition?
COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ANDACCUSATIONS THAT ARISE.1. Because Jesus is the begotten Son of theMost High, then He was created.Answer:Jesus is the Son begotten in thebosom of His father by inheritance (genes),not created, not adopted.2. Because the Holy Spirit, is spoken of asthe trio, the third power of the Godhead, theSpirit must be a third separate andindependent God.Answer: There is one God, the Most High;two Beings, the Father and the Son; and threepersonalities through which the Fathermanifests Himself to us, while He is physicallyseated on the throne: Father, Son and theirHoly Spirit.3. There are many verses describing theSpirit in Scriptures, therefore the Holy Spirit

 3
must be a third independent and separate God.Answer: The Most High is physically seatedon His throne in heaven, and is omnipresentthrough his Spirit everywhere, yet is a Person.
We reject as idolatry the trinity because it makesGod the Holy Spirit, a separate being, co-equal  and co-eternal.

And yet, the Holy Spirit is thethird person of the Godhead, a representativeof the Father and of the Son. This is a mystery.4. The Trinity dogma teaches that God theSon died. How can God die?Answer: The Father gave life to the Son.“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hathHe given to the Son to have life in Himself;”John 5:26.5 “Let this mind be in you, which was alsoin Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal withGod: 7 Butmade himself of no reputationG2758 – kenoo = emptied), and took upon himthe form of a servant, and was made in thelikeness of men: 8 And being found in fashionas a man, he humbled himself, and becameobedient unto death, even the death of thecross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highlyexalted him, and given him a name which isabove every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] inheaven, and [things] in earth, and [things]under the earth;”Phil. 2:5-10.
Jesus emptied, set aside His Godhead so as to die and was
resurrected by the Spirit of HisFather
 Rom. 8:11.
 5. Because the Scriptures teach that Christwas “begotten” then the Son is not divine(God).Answer:
The Psalmist David declared:
“I willdeclare the decree: the LORD hath said untome,Thou [art] my Son; this day have Ibegotten thee…Kiss the Son,lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrathis kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they thatput their trust in him.”
 Psalms 2:7, 12; Acts13:33; Heb. 5:5..
 John the Baptist bore witness:
“And theWord was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of theonly begotten of the Father,) full of grace andtruth. No man hath seen God at any time; theonly begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father
,
he hath declared [him].”
 John1:14, 18.

The apostle John declared:
“For God soloved the world, thatHe gave his onlybegotten Son,that whosoever believeth in himshould not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world tocondemn the world; but that the worldthrough him might be saved. He thatbelieveth on him is not condemned: but hethat believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed inthe name of the only begotten Son of God.”
 John 3:16-18.
The Apostle Paul in his epistle to theHebrews, wrote howthe Father has “spokenunto usby [his] Son, His heir, “by whom alsohe made the worlds;Who being thebrightness of [his] glory, and the expressimage of his person,” who “sat down on theright hand of the Majesty on high; Beingmade so much better than the angels, ashehath by inheritance obtained a more excellentname than they. For unto which of the angelssaid he at any time,

Thou art my Son, this dayhave I begotten thee? And again, I will be tohim a Father, and he shall be to me aSon?

And again, when he bringeth inthefirstbegotten into the world,

he saith, And letall the angels of God worship him.” But untothe Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is]the sceptre of thy kingdom.”
 Heb. 1:1-8.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested thelove of God toward us, because thatGod senthis only begotten Soninto the world, that wemight live through him.1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth thatJesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him alsothat is begotten of him.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever isborn of God sinneth not; buthe that is
