DORMA Automatics offers a complete line of ICU manual sliding doors for
special care facilities such as hospitals and surgical centers. The DORMA ICU
allows for continuous observation of patients, while allowing quick and easy
access during emergency conditions.
All DORMA ICU Systems are capable of emergency egress when required.
Emergency release hardware allows for the doors to swing out in the direction of
egress when pushed.
DORMA ICU doors are available in a wide range of sizes, configurations, and
finishes. Single, biparting, or telescopic doors are available with either two,
three, four, or six panels. A recessed track or trackless guide system allows for
smooth operation.
Product Features:
Premature Breakout An actuating cam mounted at the carrier
prohibits breakout until the panels are moved to the fully open position.
Trackless Bottom Guide Option The sliding panel is guided by a
roller, which fits in the bottom rail of the door, providing a smooth
floor surface for uninhibited movement.
Electrostatic Discharge Grounding A special stainless steel strip
on the track extends the length of the slide opening which protects
sensitive medical equipment from static electricity.
Remote Panel Status Monitoring Allows staff to monitor door
position.
Positive Latch Where applicable code requirements exist, latches
the door panels in a secured position while still allowing for egress.
High-Strength Trackless Model Uses stainless steel bottom pivot
plates, reducing typical breakage.
