Fejfar Previously, I have argued that Marx’s Communist Manifesto is a fraud.Without belaboring the point here, I would also like to argue that Marx’s notion of Dialectical Materialism found in the Communist Manifesto, is essentially Capitalist innature.The notion of dialectical materialism found in Marx is typically attributed toHegel. Hegel argued that there was an Absolute Spirit in History, and that Historyunfolded in a dialectic of ideas: Thesis-Antithesis-Synthesis. Marx took this idea andmade the dialectic one of material causes rather than ideas: material cause-opposingmaterial cause-material synthesis.Now, without putting too much effort into the analysis it is apparent that Marxwas really talking about market capitalism: Contract Offer-Material Cause<>ContractCounter Offer-Opposing Material Cause= Contract Material Synthesis or EqualibriumAgreed upon Price. Now, this isn’t too bad as far as it goes, but from the standpoint of Liberal Economics there are some problems. First of all, the equation fails to take intoaccount various notions such as elasticity of demand and supply, and externalities.Additionally, I have argued that Value is an element of every market transaction, not justa rationally negotiated price.
