1. "Merging" of small municipalities

The economic difficulties of small municipalities do not allow more than cope,
alone, to the demands of the citizens of its territory. you need to work in a network
between different municipalities, planning interventions organic for a wider
territory.
Partecipazione Democratica welcomes this opportunity, promoting it to get
better services and rates contained in expected times.

2. Building all together the new Province

With the recent government reform, the Province becomes a "second-level"
entity managed by the Mayors of the cities.
Partecipazione Democratica seen in the direct involvement of Mayors in land
management Provincial opportunity to identify and share the major objectives of
general interest to the community of Lodi, from spatial planning to protect the
environment, the organization of large infrastructural services public network, the
promotion of economic development and cultural promotion.

3. New Net Municipalities

Partecipazione Democratica considers it important to improve services to citizens

4. Ensure effective social services

Despite the current difficult situation of Budget Participation, Partecipazione
Democratica considers a priority to ensure a range of effective social services, for
the elderly, the disabled, to subjects with psychological distress, to families in
serious financial difficulties. In order to face the challenge of containing costs while
maintaining a commitment to effective services , Partecipazione Democratica
believes that we must work in a logic of territorial welfare , enhancing the
opportunities offered by the Consortium for Service to the person and the
coordination with the organizations that dealing with the health , including the
prevention and Voluntary Associations.
Partecipazione Democratica considers it essential to the creation of an effective
social network of transport for the elderly and disabled . Thanks to a strong

relationship with the voluntary associations and other associations in the area , the
maximization of resources by avoiding waste and duplication of effort.

5. Helping families to deal the financial crisis

The difficult situation in which there are many families necessitates intervention
of the City to counter the increase in poverty and unemployment.
Partecipazione Democratica means, in this sense: to provide for the rescheduling
of the additional income tax, paying particular attention to people who lose their
jobs; promoting the improvement of employment services.
Partecipazione Democratica is considered necessary to favor the recovery of the
structures present in Gugnano in order to attract private investment to generate
new employment opportunities.

6. Ensuring the education services and the creation of cultural

Partecipazione Democratica considers necessary to prepare in a short time a
suitable plan to retrofit the old building part of Mairano school, taking full
advantage of the government grants announced by the Government. Through the
Plan for the Right to Education will promote projects that promote intercultural
dialogue, respect and understanding of others.
Partecipazione Democratica is also enhancing the services offered by the
insertion of the Public Library in the Library System and to promote significant
cultural initiatives at the municipal level, in collaboration with other institutions.

7. Environmental protection, safeguard and promoting the cultural heritage.

Partecipazione Democratica intends to pursue actions that relate to the
progressive allocation of the municipal buildings of plants for energy self-sufficiency;
the increase in the collection of waste at no additional cost to the citizen; the
promotion of initiatives for compliance, saving and responsible use of water; the
increase in the Government Plan of the Territory, the public green surface. Particular
attention should be reserved to the problem related to the increasing in volume of
traffic after opening TEEM (East Highway of Milan).

8. Qualify the existing roads, parks, sports center and bike path.

Partecipazione Democratica feels right contain the expansion and building of
our common order of what has been built. It is considered essential to provide
spending on maintenance and qualification of the existing, without having to resort

to the creation of new settlements: schedule routine maintenance of asphalt roads,
green spaces and sports center; extend bike lanes, provide adequate lighting of
streets in accordance with the guidelines for energy efficiency; provide assistance

9. Statement of legality and administrative transparency

Partecipazione Democratica intends to undertake the following actions: combat
lawlessness involving economic categories in a prevention policy; apply the rules
and promote the transparency of the conduct of public administration; search for a
good local police cooperation with the police; support education and respect for the
rules by all residents.
10. Encouraging the active citizens participation

There is adequate space within the municipal area in which groups of people can
come together to create expressive type activities (theater, music, dance) or just to
meet and discuss.

within the existing structures reducing the costs).
