There is no easier method by which a soul can experience the ecstasy of the Divine than through
music a music which thrills with the sweetest of sounds, the Name of God. The melody of the
Name sends such a delight through the soul and the entire physical frame that all the discord and turmoil
within them immediately cease and the soul is elevated to meet and to mingle with the Divine life and
bliss. Sing on the Lords most charming Name. Sing on the infinite glories of the great Beloved until, like a
drop in the ocean, your life seemingly cut off from God merges in Him and tastes the bliss and peace of
immortality.

Give up the reading of the scriptures
Float them down the river,
No need to learn all fifty six letters
only Ra & Ma (Rama) two letters will do for ever and will make one learned enough to understand and
grasp the essence of God Almighty.

Nashte Sanaatane Dharme Kalau Kalushite Jane
Saadhanam Paramam Sreshtham Krishnanamaanukeertanam

The primeval path of righteousness (the sanatana dharma) has been lost. The people have been afflicted
with all the evil propensities of Kali. Hence the only way of redemption is to chant the Divine Names and
glories of Lord Krishna

Depend upon it that the Lord's Name is all-powerful. It will not only shield you from all harm, but also grant
you the power of endurance and peace. To take refuge in the Name is to take refuge in God, because
God and His Name are not different. With the Name on the lips you can withstand all the storms of life,
you can brave all the dangers, all the disappointments and all the losses that attend on life.

BENEFITS OF JAPA - By Swami Sivananda

If you utter the word 'excreta' or 'urine' when your friend is taking his meals, he may at once vomit
his food. If you think of 'Garam Pakoda', 'hot Pakoda', your tongue will get salivation. There is a Shakti or
power in every word. When such is the case with ordinary words, how much more power or Shakti should
there be in the Name of God Hari, Ram, Siva or Krishna? Repetition or thinking of His Name
produces a tremendous influence on the mind. It transforms the mental substance Chitta (mind-
stuff), overhauls the vicious old Samskaras in the mind, transmutes the Asuric or diabolical nature and
brings the devotee face to face with God. There is no doubt about this.

Though water and ghee are basically liquids, when poured on fire they have
opposite actions. Ghee stimulates the fire whereas water extinguishes it completely.
It may appear that both worldly matters and the Divine Names are "thoughts'.
While worldly matters expand the mind("manadhai vallarkkum"), the Divine
Name of God destroys("manadhai azhikkum") it taking one to self-realization.

Chanting the Name of God, the mind is soothed and pacified.
Everyone searches for Him in different ways, but the search is so difficult, and He cannot be found. ||1||
Chanting, deep meditation and penance, wandering over the face of the earth, the performance of
austerities with the arms stretched up to the sky -
the Lord is not pleased by any of these means, though one may follow the path of Yogis and Jains. ||2||
The Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, and the Praises of the Lord are priceless; he alone obtains
them, whom the Lord blesses with His Mercy.

passes in peace. ||3||
