Source: The Poetry 180 website has provided each of you with the opportunity to read a wide selection of modernpoetry selected for middle and high school students. Undoubtedly, you found some poems which fed your intellectand imagination and other poems which you would not even feed to your pets. Hopefully from the 180 poems onoffer at least one or two will get you thinking.

Responding to poetry, G8 poetry presentations 
TASK
Create a presentation based around one or more of the poemsthat you have read form the poetry 180 website.
Options:
(1) A transformation of the poem into another form followed byan explanation.(2) A reading of the poem followed by a commentary.
(3)
A comparison of the poem with another text (poem, film,novel etc) explaining the connections in terms of theme orsubject or style.(4)Write a poem in response to one of the poems in the list andexplain how they relate to each other.(5)Another idea you have discussed with your teacher
