Accordion-Fold Card Tutorial

Step 1- Trim a piece of cardstock to 5 ½” X 12” and score at 1 ½”, 3”, 5 ½”and 8”. Fold accordion style.Step 2- Cut your patterned papers, slightly smaller than the panels on yourcard. I used two pieces cut at 1 3/8”X 5 3/8”, two pieces cut at 2 3/8” X 53/8” and one cut at 2 7/8” X 5 3/8”. I inked the edges with my Cat’s Eyeink. And, I used paper from the Dream Street “Sam” line.

Step 3- Use a coordinating color of cardstock to make the “belly band.” Itshould be 7” long and wide enough to accommodate your sentiment. Minewas 1 ½” wide. Fold your band around your card. Don’t make it to tightbecause you want your band to be able to slide on and off your card.Adhere the ends of the band together.Back:Front:
