Our Story(Acts/Epistles)
The word used for “saints” means “holy ones”. In order tounderstand what Paul is getting at it will help us to think about thisconcept in the Old Testament.The NT writers do not develop their theology apart from the story ofthe OT. Israel’s story becomes Jesus’ story and Jesus’ storybecomes our story. All of the promises and identity given to Israelare fulfilled in Jesus and become ours because we are in Christ.
