Third Annual Conference - Macomb ISD - November 13, 2009
Call for Presenters
 The 3rd annual Collaborative Tools for LearningConference, sponsored by the Michigan Associationfor Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) and hostedby the Macomb ISD, will show educators how to usethe growing collection of web sites and technologiesto support student learning and achievement. Nearlya decade ago, the second generation of Internet sitesbrought new functions and features that allowed truecollaboration to occur online. Now, new technologiesare transforming these tools, bringing about new sitesthat interact with each other and the user to create anew collaborative network that has the potential totransform how we teach, learn, work, and live.
We Need You
We are seeking educators who have experience infostering collaboration and learning with the newgeneration of Internet tools and technologies to share yourstories and skills with K-16 educators throughout theregion in this new conference event. We want to explorehow Web 2.0 and beyond can improve instruction, and weare looking for people like you to share your ideas with yourcolleagues. This single-day conference will include both hour-longdemonstration sessions and 90 minutes hands-onsessions to develop skills and provide ideas of how thesenew tools address student understanding. We welcomeproposals from all educators who can show how thesetools support and enhance collaboration and learning.
