Déjà Vu Detective: Day of the Detectives Doom

In a small boring town in Alberta, lived a young boy named Danny Doog. Danny wasnot the most intelligent child but he had a very creative imagination and he enjoyed toread mystery novels. Danny's parents both worked as teachers .He had one older sister and one older brother. In the neighbourhood lived no other children but a very friendlyneighbour who seemed a bit to friendly. He was a 72 year old man who acted like a 71year old man. His name was Evec Rondwil. Danny always got himself in loads of trouble but on his 14th, everything would change............. It was June the 31st 2009, 1 day awayfrom Danny's birthday. “Can’t wait till I get home, I'm going to play detective all day"!Screamed Danny with glee .Soon Danny's small source of intelligence reminded him hestill would need to use the washroom and eat. Well he then decided he wouldn't playdetective on day long but for a pleasant hour or two. During the long and boring car ride,Danny's non intelligent side wanted to play.” Hey look a bird, hey a jet, oh and I'mhungry"!!!! Shouted Danny." I'm busy Danny please don't bother me". Replied hismother. "You shouldn't rush your mother or me or we could cras.....!!!!!added his farther who carelessly didn't pay attention to the road." Nice driving dad we almost crashed".sarcastically commented Danny. Soon the Doog family came home and finally they wereable to start the oven . Danny then ran up to his room and started to play detective. After an hour Danny was getting hungry. "Oh, boy I'm starving I wonder what could be for dinner, well probably pea soup again". Danny thought in disgust. Danny had an idea .Asneaky yet brilliant one. To bad his intelligent side hadn't came. As Danny put his plan inaction he unwillingly tripped over his older brother's skateboard ."Watch out below!!!!!!!!" screamed Danny in terror. His sister had set up 300 000 001 dominoes by arandom reason and Danny had knocked them all down and had knocked himself out to.Soon after Danny had woken up from what seemed like a comma Danny's sister had gavehim a lecture so loud and long it had woken up sleeping beauty! After Danny's lecture thesmell of food was in the air. "Can't wait to see what’s for dinner"! wondered Danny. ToDanny's surprise it was.......pea soup. "Why did you have to make pea soup again"?Asked Danny sounding like the least polite any person could be. "But your brother saidyou loved pea soup" .replied his mother. Danny soon glared at his brother who waslaughing with pea soup squirting out his noise. "I'm going to kill....."but instead of finishing he pounced at his brother like a cheetah would pounce at its prey. Screamingand crying for help his parents just watch as if it was a television show. After the fight both children survived. (Aw to bad)No one got in trouble and no one was injured to badly.(wink, wink.) After the serious fight Danny had just decided to eat the slices of pizza and drink some soda. Danny had remembered that his birthday was the next day sohe couldn't sleep for the rest of the night but he didn't realize the pizza was made with pepperonis that make you fall asleep forever.(wink, wink,)No, what really happened is

that he fell asleep since he drank to much of the soda .He was having a dream, more likea nightmare. He was walking in a dark ally when he heard a unfamiliar sound. "Maybeit's popcorn popping on the stove or somebody breaking a bone. Wondered Danny."Wow, I was totally off". Danny corrected himself. It was a gunshot by a very strangeand odd man. The bullet that had been shot had hit directly in the detective's arm. "Hey,what are you looking at"! shouted the stranger. He then shot a bullet at Danny. As hethought it was the end, the nightmare had ended. He was back in his room. "Wow, whatwas in the soda"? He wondered. It was 12:00 am, his birthday. That morning Dannydidn't seem as energetic as he usually was every morning. "Honey, what's wrong? Askedhis mother." Nothing..."replied Danny. In Danny's mind he was wondering if he became adetective would he be shot like the detective in his dream. Soon it was 3:00pm, time for Danny’s favourite show. It was a show for 2 year olds.(Remember he is just 14 yearsold.) Today’s episode was about not giving up which reminded Danny not give up on hisdream of being a famous detective. "Hey, my nice mice show is right, I shouldn’t giveup, I will not give up!!!" courageously shouted Danny. "Be quiet for once!" shouted hissister. "Never!!!" replied Danny leaping off the couch and on the living room table. "Notagain." sighed his mom". At 3:30pm Danny had decided to get all the decorations hungup. It took him about 3 hours since he had fell and knocked himself unconscious for 2hours. At 6:35pm, all of the people who had been invited did not show up and called totell they wouldn't. "Yeah, no one showed up!!!" Applauded Danny. He was actuallyhappy since all of the party members were people that Danny despised most of all in theentire galaxy. During the party everything was fantastic for Danny but not for anyoneelse. Everybody else had to clean up any of the messes that Danny made and he was amessy eater. He had dropped cake on the carpet and floor plus he had ruined the beautifulwrapping on the boxes but he didn't care. At 9:00 Danny started to go totally wild. Hestarted to leap from table to table. "Try to catch me now you little leprechaun!!" ShoutedDanny. He had ate to much cake and drank to much soda. As Danny leaped from table totable he had slipped and accidentally knocked himself out for an hour. After an hour Danny had woken up and he had realized that his birthday had almost ended. "Oh oh,theres only 2 hours till my birthday ends!" yelled Danny. "You mean 1 hour and 59minutes. Corrected his sister. Soon Danny was running around circles till he could travel back in time but it had completely failed. That took about 30 minutes. Danny wonderedwhy the time had gone so fast, and he then realized that the leprechaun he had seen musthad made time go forward. "You win round one you leprechaun, but I shall not give up!"shouted Danny yet again. "Please for once, just be quiet!!!!" Shrieked his sister. "In your dreams, Mrs. I'm so important! I will defeat the leprechaun and save my birthday fromhis evil clenches! That small little leprechaun will never see it coming!YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" He applauded. He needed to think of a intelligent plan one thatwould work for sure, one that would never ever fail, one that the leprechaun would never suspect, one that will.......well when he was thinking he got distracted by the new showlearning A B C's with Bob and then he had forgot about the plan and decided to watch. Itwas 30 minutes long. Included the time he had spent thinking of a plan the total of thetime that had pass was 1 hour. "What! 59 minutes till the end of the day? No thatsimpossible, I was counting how much time had passed, it was only 5 minutes thathad.....wait a minute.......AHHHHHHHH!! Oh no!" He wined. He realized he had wastedand was still wasting all his time he had left. " I have an idea, I can still run in a

circle......wait....... ah man, I did that already!! Panicked Danny. "Well I'm doomed. Hey,wait did I try running around in a circle yet.........never mind." Realized Danny. He wasgetting really nervous and was about to faint again and guess what? He did faint. Hefainted till 11:40 pm, 20 minutes left till you know what. Danny's mother had askedDanny to take out the trash and he had agreed since he was so upset he thought his birthday was already over. As Danny had put the trash beside the trash can outside he hadheard a strange yet familiar sound. "Hey, I heard that sound before.........but I can't recallwhere I heard it." He thought to himself. He went to check it out. He figured out that hehad heard it from a another yet familiar place, a dark allie. As Danny wondered deeper into the allie, he realized the nightmare was coming true. It was to late. Danny hadwitnessed the detective and the stranger. The detective had been shot but only this timeDanny had got away safely. It was 11:59 pm a minute before his birthday would end. Ashe had ran back home he was to scared to tell anyone but one thing he did know was thatit was not safe to tell anyone or he might be really doomed. "That is it, I'm finished."Quietly he whispered. His so called detective spirit was gone..............................maybenot forever.

7 LONG YEARS LATER............................

During the seven years that had passed Danny was not still the least intelligent teenager, but he was the most intelligent person in his grade. He had obtained all A+ marks on hisreport cards. The incident had never been occurred and told again to any other person butthe other detectives had solved the case incorrectly. The detective that had been shot hadaccidentally mistaking the real criminal with an innocent man. The innocent man's namewas Nam Tneconni. How Danny had known this was that the real criminal had a whitelong beard and white moustache. Nam Tneconni didn't and seemed a lot younger thenthe true criminal. He had very good eye sight and he had spotted the evidence to provethe man's innocence, but he couldn't face the truth anymore. Danny was now 21 years oldhad been excepted to any university he wanted. To sum it all up, Danny became agenius. What happened to his family was that his sister became a teacher like their parents and his brother had moved to the United States of America to become president.He was successful, he became president of the USA. Their parents were about to retire ina couple of years. The date was June 30th, and it was recently made to be the Doogfamily reunion. Danny had came home to see that his sister, two of his cousins and his parents were there. "So he is late again or is he not going to show up? He asked. Theyhad been referring to the USA president. Danny's and his sister's brother. " He is notcoming." Replied his sister. There two cousins were the only ones to show up sinceeveryone else was busy. "So, is this everyone who is coming, or is there anyone else?Asked one of the two cousins. The other one had just repeated what the first other onehad said since the two were both twins. The reunion did not last to long but it had beenvery fun, but not for Danny. Ever since the tragic incident had happened he was usuallynot happy most of the time. After all the guest had left, there neighbour Evec Rondwilhad came to the door. "Hello, I was wondering do you have any spare wires of any sort?"Asked Evec. "No, I don't think so." answered Danny. Danny was getting abituncomfortable since why would Evec ask for wires. Although Evec was 79 years old somaybe he did not know what he was talking about. As he left the porch he had seemedlike he was in a rush. "Strange...." He thought. That night Danny was thinking about if he
