3. Cut a 6’’x 8’’ rectangle of brown Core’dinations cardstock from the
vintage collection using the guillotine side of the Smart Trimmer. Free hand draw a frame edge to mimic the shape of the
acrylic and with the Straight cut blade #2801 in the Freestyle mouse cut it out following the line with the little pointer2 on the
front of the mouse. Sand the edges and ink with a brown from the color box chocolate and berries stacker.
4. With a craft knife cut a small rectangle out from the middle of the brown card then rip it into a larger irregular rectangle
approx 5 ½’’ x 3 ½’’. Tear back into it and roll sections back to create the ripped torn frame for your photo. Ink the edges using
the brown cat’s eye ink again.
5. Adhere the frame to your photo and put it to one side.
6. With the Straight cut blade still in your Freestyle Mouse cut a 7 ½’’ length of Magic Mesh making it a free form wave shape
along the bottom edge starting at a ½’’ depth increasing to a 2 ½’’ depth to the right. Stick it along the bottom edge of your
Dove of the East paper on your acrylic shape.
7. Cut a length of 1 ½’’ wide lace at 9 ½’’, ink with brown ink and attach it across the top of your magic mesh strip at an angle.
8. Now adhere your framed photo in place.
9. Make a pumpkin from some orange Core’dinations Vintage Collection cardstock, distress and ink it, then add punched green
leaves from more Core’dinations cardstock. Attach it to the bottom left corner of your arrangement.
10.Cut out a selection of leaves and berries from your photos, making your own embellishments and add around the frame ad-
hering with silicon glue to add dimension
11.Change to click blade # 2804 Deckle edge in your Freestyle Mouse and cut up a word strip from Cosmo Cricket Gretel paper, I
did this freestyle as I like the irregular lines. Stick them to the left side of your art work.
12.Lastly, cut some butterflies from the Hambly overlay, fold them in half so they look like they are flying and add them to your
piece with a dab of silicon glue
13.Now all you need to do is place your art work on a mini artist easel and decide where to display it to create a seasonal home
décor talking piece! (what a great piece to create for each season or life event!)
