the
General
Meeting
As
described
in
the
first
notice
forthis
meeting,there
will
be
elections
for
the
following
positions:

National
Chairperson
(2010-11)
•
National
DeputyChairperson
(2010-11)
•
National
Treasurer
(2010-11)
There
will
be
also
be
a
by-electionto
fill
the
vacantAlberta
and
Quebec
Representative
positions
on
the
NationalExecutive
for
theremainder
of
the
2009-10
term.

Draft
Budget
In
accordance
with
Operations
Policy,
a
first
draft
of
the
2009-10revised
budget
is
included.
A
more

will
beincluded

thedelegates’

distributedatregistration.

Pleasebring:

Valid
ID.Some
social
events
throughtout
the
general
meeting
will
take
placeat
local
venues.
In
orderto
enterthe
premises,
you
must
have
valid
government
photo
ID
that
verifies
your
age.

Binder
Be
sure
to
bring
your
local’s
Federation
Bylaws!Policy
binder.
You
shouldhave
a
copy
in
your
students’
union
office
(It
has
a
black
cover
with
whiteprinting).
At
themeeting,
each
delegate
will
be
supplied
with
a
1.5”
thick
binder
to
hold
general
meetingdocuments.
Pleaseleaveroom
in
your
luggage
to
take
your
binder
back
to
your
local
union
office
after
themeeting.
In
the
case
oflarge
delegations
notrequiring
more
than
a
few
binders
for
their
unions,
generalmeetingdocuments
can
be
made
available
in
accordian
folders.
Please

with
the
names
of
any
members
of
your
delegation
who
should
receive
general
meetingdocuments
in
an
accordian
folder.
