Musical Monologue TwoI now feel close to heaven,Raised up, back on my feet. The one thing that pulled me down,Has now set me free.I am flying without wings,High above my shadowed world,The sun heats my back,And lights my way home.If I were to take everything from the inside of me,It would all be gold. For she has washed all impurity,From my weary bones.I no longer feel like the tenth man down,Far away from the light.I waited in this lonely queue,And now stand at the fore.My heart flares out with great balls of fire,My body lit up by cause. And the warmth given,Now that things are bright.I don’t want to set the world on fire,But joy now radiates.I am full of good things,And want to share them. You know my name but,But you don’t know me.The good, my will,To make this world a better place.A thing called love has given me wings,To soar through the darkness. And fall at the door,I most want to enter.I wish I had an angel,But there has been one.Close to home,All this time. The sound of silence greets me no more,When I listen to the beat of my heart. It beats again to its own cadence,The moment I see your face.My life is no longer a bittersweet symphony,Beholding beauty that lingers.Outside of my encroaching grasp,Slowly I reach toward you.The signals sent across the universe,Can not be heard on earth.
