A minimum of 2 years professional dance experience of teaching dance in acommunity and/ or education setting and a desire to inspire people to dance.
Experience in teaching Ballroom Dancing.
Have excellent teaching ability with participants of all ages, abilities andbackgrounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy with people, particularly young people
Good time management, organizational and planning skills
Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million
A valid driving license and own transport
Music equipment that is PAT tested
Hold a current enhanced CRB checkDesirable
Experience of inclusive practiceLegalThe dance artist appointed is responsible for their own tax and national insurance. Theterms and conditions of the appointment including details of the task, financialinformation, indemnity, termination, assignment of third parties and contact informationwill be set out by agreement.Advanced CRBAn enhanced CRB check will be mandatory. The dance artist will also be required toprovide identification to staff for verification before each workshop commences.
