Espino turns over 11 ambulancesto Prov’l Gov’t Chiefs of Hospitals
LINGAYEN - -Governor Amado T.Espino, Jr. turned over today five brand newand six reconditionedambulances to thevarious government-owned hospitals inPangasinan in an effortto provide the besthealthcare services toPangasinenses.During the turn-over rites officiated byRev. Fr. RolandoSalosagcol, thegovernor gathered theChiefs of Hospitalstogether with theambulance drivers for a short briefing.The use of theambulances,according toGovernor Espino, is acommandresponsibility of thechief of hospitalsunder certain rulesand policies to befollowed by thedesignated drivers thatspecifically calls for work ethics anddiscipline.“Nine more brandnew ambulances areset to arrive next week to be distributed to theother governmenthospitals,” thegovernor said.The initial five brand newambulances are givento the PangasinanProvincial Hospital(PPH), BayambangDistrict Hospital,Urdaneta DistrictHospital, EasternDistrict Hospital andWestern DistrictHospital.The sixreconditionedambulances, on theother hand, wereawarded to the PPH,Manaoag CommunityHospital, BolinaoCommunity Hospital,Umingan CommunityHospital, PozzorubioCommunity Hospital,and the EasternDistrict Hospital.The nineambulances that areset to arrive will beturned over to thecommunity hospitalsof Bolinao,Mangatarem,Lingayen,Pozzorubio, Dasol,Asingan, Mapandan,Manaoag andUmingan.“As I always say,it is my vision that all pregnant mothers inPangasinan will be brought to thehospitals and give birth there,” thegovernor stressed ashe added that in duetime all governmenthospitals will be fullyequipped to better serve the health needsof all sick Pangasinensesespecially those belonging to the lessfortunate.“This will serve asa big boost to the provincialgovernment’s healththrust as what thegovernor wants tohappen.
