Nirvana, Rage Against Machine and Dream Theatre.
What drew guys towards music?
(Formation of rungg) to tell you the truth, I was so much into teaching computers and finishingeducation recently that I had forgotten what a drum kit was. But sarmad (the lead guitarist) and I gottogether and talked about rungg. I loved what these guys were doing and they liked my work so here Iam a part of rungg spending 14 ours in front of a drum kit instead of a computer screen.
Tell us something about your upcoming album?
When I joined Rungg, the song writing had already been done but the band plans to add more to theirlist and I think we have a lot to offer as a unit. The album should be out this winter so keep a lookout.
Music Recognition or achievements?
I have been a small time musician really and have been playing underground before. But I am sure Iwill witness my recognitions and achievements with the exposure I get with RUNGG.
Type of Music you like?
Well I guess I have a taste for all kinds of music, but these days I am more into the electronic stuff.
Type of Music you hate?
I hate the oriental tunes they play at the Chinese food outlets which just shoots my appetite bird dead.No but really I can listen to almost everything except some o f those bhangra tunes these days which
