BASIC RULES & REGULATIONS
UNIFORM

Basic Uniform is provided
♦
Cheerleaders are responsible for maintaining the uniform (consisting of boots,shorts, blouse, vest, pom pons, warm-ups, traveling outfits, jackets and show groupcostumes.) Uniform must be kept clean at all times. Replacement cost of articles lostor damaged must be paid by the Cheerleader.

All uniforms and property must be turned in before the 2010 Final Auditions - dateto be determined by the Director.REHEARSALS
♦
There will be rehearsals every Thursday evening before the season begins. Youare expected to attend ALL rehearsals.
♦
Once the season begins, there will be a set schedule of rehearsals.
♦
All rehearsals are scheduled in the evenings
♦
Any girl missing a rehearsal prior to a game or show will not be allowed to performat that game or show.
♦
Any Show Group member missing two shows without an acceptable reason will bereleased from Show Group.
♦
CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT FEEL THEY CAN ATTEND ALL REHEARSALSSHOULD NOT CONTEMPLATE BEING AN IOWA BASKETBALL EXPOSURE LEAGUECHEERLEADER.

Rehearsal dress code will be strictly enforced.COMPENSATION

Cheerleaders will not receive monetary compensation for performing with the IowaBasketball Exposure League.
♦
Cheerleaders will receive (free? reduced?) tanning, hair, nail, make-up, gymmembership, spa.Location: Siren TanPERSONAL APPEARANCE

The IBELC uniform is not forgiving and performance requirements are frequentlystrenuous. Therefore, Cheerleaders must maintain a high level of physical fitnessappropriate to these requirements. Individuals not doing so are warned, then put onnon-performing status, and finally terminated from the squad.

Smoking IS NOT allowed in uniform or during Cheerleader functions.
♦
With the exception of small stud earrings, no jewelry is to be worn with theuniform.
♦
No piece of the uniform or IBELC property may be worn any place except when andwhere it is approved by the Iowa Basketball Exposure League Cheerleaders office.GENERAL
♦
Cheerleaders must be at home games up to three hours prior to start of game.
♦
All Cheerleaders participate in all Iowa Basketball Exposure League home gamesand any Iowa Basketball Exposure League home playoff games
♦
If you are selected, you must have reliable transportation and be in attendance toall Iowa Basketball Exposure League games.
You must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of the preliminaryauditions!!!!
