It's really free, no catch!Here's the thing, you'll be signing up for a free trial membership with Privacy Protection Plus whichoffers credit monitoring services among other things. Included with your membership is a giftcertificate for a free credit report through TransUnion. After receiving your credit report you maycancel your Privacy Protection Plus membership by calling a toll free telephone number, and you willnot be billed for the membership after the trial period. You may even want to stay a member but it'scompletely not necessary. This works.. I tried it for myself to be sure and I had zero hassles.1)Visit the Canadian Credit Report website by clicking here. The steps that follow are for
Canadian residents only but if you are from the U.S. you can usethis link .2)Fill in the form (name, email, postal code) and click the “Get It Now” button.3)Fill in the next form (address, city, province) and click the “Submit & Continue” button.4)Fill in the next form (name on credit card, credit card type, card number, expiry date, emailaddress) and click “View Report”. Remember, your card will not be charged... it is for your freetrial Privacy Protection Plus membership if you choose to continue with it.5)You will be given a membership ID and link to login to the Privacy Protection Plus membershipwebsite. Make note of the ID and then click the link. Note: You will also be given the toll free phone number to call if/when you want to cancel your membership. If you plan to cancel makesure you do within a few days. I believe the tiral only lasts a week.
