Visionary Leader
In a 1972 speech at a meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges Chairman

Rogers quoted the Book of Common Prayer saying:
\u201cWe have left undone those things we ought to have done; and we have done those things
which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us.\u201d
\u201cThose words,\u201d he continued, \u201care dramatically precise in describing our national performance in
the delivery of health care in this nation.\u201d
Unfortunately, his words are more true today than when first uttered.
