FAREWELL MY LITTLE ONES
By: Thomas Yau-Leung Yeh M. D.
Farewell my little ones, I have to go.I don’t want to leave you, but life is so.Circles upon circles, rhythm and rhyme,Life, death, joy, tears, each has its time.Blossoms in spring, soft gentle rainTiptoes on the windowpane.Round and round goes the Lego train.By the fireplace, I’ll be there.Head to head, elbow to elbow,Rushing, rushing for the ball.Pushing, pushing toward the goal.By the sideline, I’ll be there.Pumpkin pie and trick or treat,Frankensteins and princesses meet.Bags and bags of candy sweet,By the moonlight, I’ll be there.Jingle Bells, The First Noel,Wrapping papers, pine cone smell,Shiny cards wish each other well.By the stockings, I’ll be there.
