We at MAEER’s Maharashtra Institute of Technology (established 1983), introduce

For all the subjects First attempt exam fees @ Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 has to be paid at the time of
examination.
For Subsequent attempts the exam fees will be Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 Payable at the time of
examination.
The total fees (Prospectus fee + Registration fee + Course fee + Exam fee) for the course is to be paid in
full at the time of admission, by Demand Draft in the name of "MIT School of Distance
Education", payable at Pune. The course material will be made available within 10 days of payment of
fees.
Students who submit an admission cancellation application or application for refund of course fee, within a
month of admission, will receive a refund of the course fee, after deduction of 25% administrative charges.
The refund is subject to return of the study material kit in good condition to MIT School of Distance
Education. If the kit is not returned, the course fee will be refunded after deduction of 50% administrative
charges.
Cancellation may be done in writing within a month of taking admission. Any applications received thereafter
will not be considered.
If intimation is provided within one months time from the date of registration then 20% of NRI course fee will
be charged as administrative charges (civilian course fee + 20% of NRI course fee).
If intimation is provided within two months time from the date of registration then 40% of NRI course fee will
be charged as administrative charges (civilian course fee + 40% of NRI course fee).
After three months from the date of registration fees cannot be refunded but the student can change the
category.
Student can change the Category from Civilian to NRI by paying the difference between the course fees.

Other Fees
Courier charges for prospectus is Rs. 1050 (Rs. 1000 for prospectus + Rs. 50 for courier charges) and US $
70 (US $ 50 for prospectus + US $ 20 for courier charges).
Students are required to mention their name, contact details and type of fee being submitted on the
reverse side of the Demand Draft.
In order to support the financial requirement of the students for paying the programme fees, MITSDE would
issue admission offer letters to eligible students. The student should send the documents by courier / post or
scanned copies by email. Documents required for admission - print out of filled-up online application form,
xerox copy of degree certificate / diploma certificate (along with experience certificate in case of diploma
holder)
After getting the documents checked for eligibility MITSDE would issue an offer letter for admission to the
student. The offer letter may be presented to HDFC bank for education loan.
