AIM :

To show the varience between different measurements repeated by
different people to see how accurate the results.
INTRODUCTION :
Any measurement taken in the laboratory contains some errors.These errors
may arise from human mistakes or from inefficiency of technical equipment
which has lost the ability to make accurate measurements. Infact any apparatus
has some limited accuracy.
MATERIALS :

Balance
\u2022
Micropipette
\u2022
Graduated Pipette (5 ml.)
\u2022
Beakers
\u2022
Distilled water
\u2022
Ice-cold distilled water
PROCEDURE :
1. The graduated pipette is filled up with distilled water. Some water
is drained until the volume is fixed at 5 ml.
2. The water is drained into a previously weighed beaker.
3. The weight delivered is recorded.
4. Experiment is repeated 10 times first with distilled water at room
temperature and then with ice-cold distilled water and the results
are tabulated.
5.Procedure is repeated with a micropipette for 100 \u03bcl. water.
