At this time I would like to thank everyone that has made a donation
to the Humboldt Special Olympic team toward the purchase of new
uniforms. We have had donations from community organizations
and also individuals over the last few months. Our Humboldt Special
Olympic team is a self-funding organization, as we do not receive
monetary support from the Humboldt Schools. Our most recent
individual who made a very generous donation was received from Liz
Stoebe. A wonderful donation was also received from the Student Senate,
the yearbook staf, and HEA as they worked together to raise funds. Tey
sold Forever a Wildcat t-shirts and then Beth Short, Brenda Rush and
other teachers from the HEA made desserts and staf at each building was
asked to make a freewill donation to Special Olympics on their buildings
Treat Day. What wonderful donations they are the monies will help
immensely toward our goal of approximately $4500, which afer these
latest donations will bring us to about half way to our goal. Our team
has not had new uniforms for approximately 12 years and our team has
grown to where we are now in need of more uniforms and also a variety
of sizes so that I can accommodate our athletes, which range in ages from
8 to 23, when we participate in competitions. My goal is to purchase 35
uniforms in various sizes with each uniform costing approximately $125,
which will include a jacket, pants, and t-shirt. If anyone in the community
would like to support our Humboldt Special Olympic team by helping
purchase these uniforms, you may send your donation to:

our Chiropractic ofce in Humboldt. This candidate is responsible for
entering charges, insurance verication, discussing nancial options
with patients, monitoring correct documentation, greeting/scheduling
patients, answering multi-line phones, data entry, balancing daily
deposits, typing, ling, etc.
Must be enthusiastic, positive, non-smoking, detail oriented,
organized, punctual, dependable, fun individual that can work well
under pressure. Must have a willingness to learn and grow and not be
afraid to pitch in where needed. Customer service, creativity, problem
solving and leadership skills are essential.
Hours for this position are: Wednesdays 8-12 and 1:30-5:30;
