“Bits and Pieces of Info to Make Life on the Ranch Easier to Manage”
What’s Happening Around TownWe’ve spent the week thinking about ourmany blessings and giving God the praise! I’mconvinced a thankful heart in all circumstancesis the key to a life of joy, contentment, andpeace, and as we have given thanks this week,we’ve experienced just such a life!
We spent much time learning about Christo-pher Columbus, the Mayflower, the Pilgrims, and the Indians. In addition to these studies, we’vebeen learning about letters Y and P and how todo addition problems. In Bible, we focused on giving thanks and have been challenged, in ourlessons on Abram and Lot, to put others firstwhile trusting and obeying God.The upcoming week will be short, but I amextremely excited about what we will be learning and doing! We will continue our studies of addition and the first Thanksgiving and learn oneof the final letters, letter X. In Bible, we willcontinue to learn about having a thankful spiritas we study God’s special promise to Abram. As we enjoy our last few days before Thanks- giving, please be on the lookout for progressreports and several projects your child has madeand will be bringing home in his or her HORSEfolder. Also,, if you have not done so already. I forgot aboutreminding you to send them back the weekfollowing conferences, so PLEASE send theback! Sorry for the late reminder and notice!I hope you enjoy a great weekend! Thanks,Miss Hult
