INTRODUCTION
In present advanced world we are introducing here a concept
which can provide a cost efficient manner of Electricity Billing.
This scheme of Electricity billing system called “PREPAID
ENERGY METER WITH TARIFFE INDICATOR”
3
It can facilitate in improved cash flow management in energy
utilities &can reduces problem associated with billing
consumer living in isolated area.
It is an tool which facilitates us to reduce manpower required for
taking meter reading .
In it according to their requirement consumers can buy a memory
card and use the electricity.
4
The memory cards are available in various ranges (i.e. Rs 50, Rs
100, Rs 200 etc…) to full fill the needs of the consumers &
the consumers are not bound to pay threshold amount of
money.

basic concept & Methodology used
9
When card is inserted in card reader it start the
prepaid energy meter kit , the card reader start to
read the information.
The EEPROM (smart card) memory deleted by
Microcontroller program.
According to power consumption the amount will
reduced.
When the amount is over ,the relay automatically
shutdown the whole system.
In our project also have provision to give an alarm
sound to consumer before the whole amount is
reduced.
