Vacuum Problem handling

Check points for vacuum loss


Remove Starwheel.
Cover the Starwheel hub with the cover provided.
Check the air pressure (should be above 80 psig)
if not ensure air pressure should reach the
required levels before proceeding further.
Check the vacuum levels with hub covered with
the cover. (Should be 14-18 in/hg) if not try
pressing the cover firmly on the hub, check
vacuum levels after firmly pressing the cover.
If vacuum levels are still below required levels,
proceed for venturi cleaning procedure

Open the Base Cabinet REAR cover
Find the Venturi attached on the top surface
Of base cabinet in this area
Check the air pressure at the regulator on Venturi input
Air pressure requirement at input is 80-85 psi
Venturi Vacuum Generator (VVG) Cleaning procedure
Remove the Venturi from machine
Clean the silencers on the venturi
Use adequate air to clean the silencers,
Use backwash procedure to clean
Carefully open the four screws of the VVG attached with the fitting flange
TOP side BOTTOM Side
Carefully disengage the vacuum block
BOTTOM side TOP side
Clean the mesh filter by removing mesh filter and the O ring.
Clean the diaphragm located in top side.
Clean the housing block of the complete assembly.
Carefully clean and re-assemble all the parts back in reverse order
Remove this Vac distributor.


Check the Hose (If dirty, replace)


Carefully open the tubes as they
are very sensitive to breakage.

Check the Registration plate
Under the starwheel for
Loose screws.

Check the seal ring for wear and
tear.
Check the Valve plate for wear and tear
Valve plate should be clean and should not carry
Any wear bands in the shown area
