A MANCHESTER TRADE STUDY

Why We Are Doing Tis
When we commissioned this study, our only request was that a publication o independent expert assessments be put together to reflect deep insight into the United States and Arica relations in general, and o AGOA specifically. We hope that this exercise will become a startingpoint or urther dialogue, and also provide an opportunity or experts to speak directly to stakeholders on both the U.S. and Arican sides. We anticipate that this shall help spur the kind o policy activity that could lead to a more equitable commercial partnership between America and sub-Saharan Arica.Te next iteration will be devoted to additional views by the
 cognoscenti
in this field - those who can contribute to the natural synergies that already exist and can be urther developed between the world’s astest growing region and the world’s largest economy.
