The use of drills is often underutilized when learning a language. A musician practices a song over
and over again focusing on different aspects each time. One time for correctness of notes, once for
piano & forte, again for timing etc\u2026 In the same way the language learner must repeat their work over
and over again each time practicing one aspect of the sentence, first pronunciation, next for correct
emphasis, again for intonation and then for speed and fluency. Each aspect is important to speaking
well and the multiple practices help the brain to retain the information being used. These drills can be
used to simplify the drilling process but are just a start of drilling for the learning of Turkish.
