2009It is now the year 2009,And this indeed is our time,To turn our eyes on the Divine,And in Him walk the line.Let us come in repentance,For leaving so much of our lives to chance,So often we have done things our way,Yet we have been saved by He who is the Way.So let us this year be led into truth,By He who is the way, the life and truth,We need to be cleansed deep within,The wheat from the tares he's separating.Through this year He will us refine,Taking us through His refiner’s fire,For surely He wants us to refire,So let us with our groom come and dine.He is calling the bride to holiness,In all situations showing thankfulness,For this is the year to drink new wine,It is the year to exalt the Divine.
 
A New Year – time for a new startTime once again for many to make resolutions,By next week though most of them will be broken,We may even wonder why we bothered to make them?But somewhere deep within man looks for a better solution.Deep down within us is a need for something better,Desiring to see change and a life that really matters,You may have wondered if what you have is your lot?Sometimes through it all you feel you’d be better left to rot.Someone this New Year who wants to give you a new start,A life full of hope and joy and a change of heart,He wants to bring into your life healing and restoration,His offer to you in this New Year is a free gift of salvation.He is longing today for the moment of your homecoming,For at that moment all the angels in heaven will be rejoicing,His love for you dear friend took him all the way to the cross,And now he has asked me to get this message across.He offers a life worth living and a brand new start.Every sin you have committed he will wash away,Come to him and he will come right into your heart,You will know peace and joy and eternal hope today.
