The problem of basing truth on the existence of God is this:

If God can decide what is true, then He could have decided to make 2+2 equal 5, but this conclusion is absurd. If God cannot, then truth exists independent of whether God exists or not.

Morality poses the same dilemma. Does God decide what is good? If so, then He could make torture acceptable. But who would want to worship this kind of God? If you argue that this would make God evil, then you are relying on a standard of morality objective of God. As such, morality, and truth are open to atheists just as much as theists, or moon-faced cretins such as Mr Chick.

I looked at your other documents, I don't think it is a joke. Try reading "The God Delusion", it adresses a lot of this. Or read some Objectivism. It solves your problem of absolutes. eg: Because I AM, I AM something.
